AVOCADO FESTIVAL (FREE) IN CARPINTERIA – VIA AMTRAK

LET’S TAKE THE TRAIN — FROM SIMI TO CARP!
Saturday – October 2, 2021

Depart the Simi Valley station at 10:07 AM and arrive in Carpinteria at 11:20.
We can meet near the tracks starting around 9:20 AM.

Trip around the Avocado Festival, Islands Brewery, Rincon Brewery, Carpinteria Bluffs & Beach (tide pools & tar pits), great restaurants, etc., and let AMTRAK take you back to Simi Valley at the end of the day!

DON’T MISS YOUR RETURN TRIP:
Leaves Carpinteria station at 7:18 PM and arrives in Simi at 8:38.

The TRAIN TICKET is ~$41 Per Person Round-Trip at AMTRAK.COM
This train may start filling fast, so hurry to get your tickets soon!

ALTERNATIVELY: Drive yourself and meet at the Carpinteria station around 11:20AM, or look for your hiking friends at the festival and nearby breweries.

AND: You may be able to book passage from other start locations, e.g. Chatsworth, Van Nuys, Ventura, (but Not Camarillo), etc…
