BIKE RIDE TO “OJAI DAY” ACTIVITIES
The city of Ojai shuts down their main street and celebrates Ojai Day the third Saturday of October each year. So mark your calendar for this event because there’s lots of entertainment, arts & crafts and food (a tri tip sandwich in the beer gardens is a real treat for me after biking). So plan on having lunch there or bring your own snacks. Oh, did I forget to mention checking out the belly dancers before heading back.

(<- click to see it). The difference between this group and the other one is that we’ll be doing an additional 6 miles in each direction. Both groups will meet up at 9:30 a.m. in Foster Park.
This group will be leaving promptly at 8:40 am from Ventura. We won’t be waiting for anyone who is late. If you find yourself arriving late for whatever reason, please drive to the main meeting spot in Foster Park where both groups will be meeting at 9:30 am.
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.
There is no need to lock up the bikes there, since there is a bike check in area when we arrive.

If you are a serious racer and get to Foster Park before 10, please meet with the rest of the group before continuing.They will be near the restrooms on the left of the bike path.
