Hello Fellow Hikers,
Finally recovered from my broken foot. Can’t wait to hit some dirt and burn some calories! So this is a lesser known area so might not encounter many others in the beginning. This hike is more up and downs with leveled off sections. The mountains should be green and beautiful with all our recent rains. This is a out and back moderate trail. Carpooling at our same meetup spot will be offered for anyone who wishes to carpool or follow to the trailhead (Best donuts located 2325 Kuehner Dr # 127 Simi Valley off the 118 freeway at 9:15am) I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, stats and photos..https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/wildwood-canyon-trail-to-newhall-open-space

Parking side off street dirt parking (if none available at trailhead drive further down more side street parking to your right)
As of now there is no sweeper for this hike so please know if you feel you can not finish for any reason please turn back early.
