The Healing Power of Meditation

On Saturday, February 24th 5:30pm-7pm a very special speaker, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa will be giving a talk on The Healing Power of Meditation at the Kavli Theater located in the Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks, CA. Come and learn to Meditate and discover the benefit of a Mind of Inner Peace.

Gen-la Jampa is an internationally renowned, ordained Buddhist teacher, Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Buddhist Tradition and current Resident Teacher at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon, Arizona. He has taught at many centers, special events, retreats, and workshops around the world. Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity. Each year, Gen-la Jampa teaches at International Festivals, National Festivals, and Dharma Celebrations.

Tickets are available for $31.00 (which is a 20% cent discount off of current face value) from Steve Cochran, member of the Weekday Trailblazers. I have 20 row K seats available as a group so hikers can sit together. We have had this event previously, and the Hiking group went to dinner as a group after the presentation, so you can make arrangements with your fellow hikers to do so.
