Stunt High loop trail (long version)

https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/stunt-high-trail

Hello Fellow Hikers,
This is going to be another hike hosted by Steve so expect a good workout. We will be meeting at the above trail and doing partial Stunt High Trail but Steve’s loop will add more elevation gain with more miles so it will be a harder moderate hike that won’t be recommended for beginners. The views in this area are amazing! this hike will offer both shade and open views will have leveled sections as well as harder climbing sections. Basically a Steve’s cardio hike…lol I will attach the AllTrails link for our meeting spot. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/stunt-high-trail

Trail loop
Miles 10+
Elevation Gain estimate 2,000
Rated hard moderate
Dogs allowed but there maybe sections of possible rock scrambling
Parking free roadside

As of now there is no sweeper for this hike so please know if you feel you can not finish for any reason please turn back early.

Please check back on hike info as rain, heat advisory, strong winds or low attendance may cause the hike to be rescheduled

We will always follow Jim’s Golden Rules:

1. Hike your own hike
2. Please stop at every junction and split to wait for others to catch up

Please remember to bring all essentials you’ll need for a hike

And last….The Organizer, Co Organizer, Assistant Organizers and Event hosts in this group are not professional guides. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip. Each person who signs up for a Event is responsible for his or her own safety and the safety of his or her guest. Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
