Hello Fellow hikers,
Okay this is going to be a interesting one. From the start your drive into the parking lot will be on a dirt road that maybe bumpy so you might have to drive a little slow. There will be a $5 fee to park you should end up at Red Rock Canyon Park. Some can park outside the lot and walk in but there isn’t a lot of spots for this. The parking lot itself maybe a little small so will have to put a limit on the hike. Now for the hike. We will be making a short hike on a side trail to the reclining man cave (its a cave that looks like a face of a man lying on the ground) only .22 additional mileage will add on to our 4.2 or we can also continue on to Red Rock Canyon Lookout which is 1.1 miles. Now our main trail sounds like it has a nice incline to the top with sections more of a incline than other sections on the trail. There will be shade from the start then opens to views. Will make our way to the top of Calabasas Peak (there will be a peak marker) then head to the concrete slab to finish up the hike and head back. This one is going to be a good workout. I attached the AllTrails link for directions, pics, and stats https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/red-rock-canyon-to-calabasas-peak
