Ranch Overlook, Old Boney and Hidden Valley Overlook trail

https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/ranch-overlook-old-boney-and-hidden-valley-overlook-trail?u=i

Hello Fellow Hikers,
This is showing as a less traveled route in this area so I thought hmm why not check it out. The trail is rated easy but the route stops at a junction so we will add a little more mileage and continue the Hidden Valley Overlook trail to the end. I’m guessing this will put us at 6.0 miles with a little more elevation gain ( maybe 1,000 at the most ) I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, stats and photos….The pin map will take you to the area I have written the directions underneath the map or you can follow the AllTrails directions straight to the Meetup site. We will be following the AllTrails map from start to finish…

Trail Out and back
Miles about 6
Elevation gain about 1.000
Trail rated Easy..but will have some incline
Dogs Sorry not allowed on this trail

We will always follow Jim’s Golden Rules:
1) Hike your own hike
2) Please stop at every junction and split to wait for others to catch up

Please remember to bring your face covering and all essentials needed for a hike.

And last….The Organizer, Assistant Organizer and Event host in this group are not professional guides. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip. Each person who signs up for a Event is responsible for his or her own safety and the safety of his or her guess

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
