Join me on a short but challenging trek that is in our local Santa Monica Mountains. After a short car shuttle, we’ll start at Regan’s old ranch in Malibu Creek State Park and head into Paramount Ranch taking on a relatively new trail on a ridge which leads us to a challenging ascent of Ladyface Mountain, her south face. Once we gain the summit, we’ll descend her north eastern ridgeline back down to the cars. This hike is for those that like my short but challenging treks.
WE ARE STARTING EARLY IN ORDER TO BEAT THE HEAT

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
