While a good number of the studios are within walking distance across and around the downtown area, others require you to drive, or better yet, bicycle or e_Bike to them as they are farther away from the town center.

There’s not much more I can tell you about this event aside from what you can find on their website: OjaiStudioArtists.org

This is an awesome way to spend the day, tripping around Ojai, meeting the artists in their home studios, joining friends for lunch or drinks at the local craft beer and wine shops, pizza and seafood restaurants, and perusing the shops in the beautiful artsy town of Ojai!

One studio you will not want to miss (and one of my favorites) is:
OjaiStudioArtists.org/theodore-gall/
Ted gives an awesome personal tour of his studio and processes!

Another favorite (and not just because he is a personal friend) is:
OjaiSudioArtists.org/rex-kochel/
Rex draws out his sketches without looking at the paper!
ReMax once commissioned him to adorn the halls of their newest So. Cal headquarters with over 27 beautiful paintings!

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
