Mount Lukens (5074′) stands majestically above the Crescenta Valley as the western most peak of the San Gabriel Mountains front range and is the highest point within Los Angeles city limits.

Distance- 10 miles
Gain- 2800 ft (approximate)
Terrain- fire road and single track trails
Restrooms- at the trailhead
Dogs- NOT ALLOWED ON THIS HIKE
Parking- free

WHAT TO BRING: A POSITIVE ATTITUDE Snacks/lunch, at least 3 liters of water, Lug soles with good tread, poles if you like/have them. Hand sanitizer & mask.

CDH POLICY: Any member with two NO SHOWS on CDH events since 2017 will lose their membership with CDH. Members will not be allowed on this and future events until they have updated their CDH profile by answering the new questions as well as having a recognizable face photo of themselves.
