Hello Fellow Hikers,
Okay if you haven’t done Mount San Antonio before you are in for a treat! This is my favorite route up Mount Baldy. We will be taking the Ski Hut trail to Baldy Bowl then onto the ridge to the top of Mount San Antonio 10,069 ft. Once on top we will take a much needed break before heading down Devils Backbone to the Notch from there we will take the fireroad back down to our vehicles. This is a very hard hike and not suitable for beginners. This is a hike your own hike but with the altitude and elevation gain this will not be a fast pace hike either so if your limited on time this may not be the hike for you. Carpooling at our same meetup spot will be offered for anyone who wishes to carpool or follow to the trailhead (Best donuts located 2325 Kuehner Dr # 127 Simi Valley off the 118 freeway at 5:30am) I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, pics, and stats https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/mount-san-antonio-mount-baldy-notch-trail
