Hello Fellow Hikers,
This hike is better known as the 321 Challenge…
Three Peaks (Pinos, Sawmill, Grouse) in Two Counties (Kern County and Ventura County) in One Day. Mount Pinos has a elevation of 8847 which will be our first stop. Then will make our way to Sawmill Mountain which has a elevation of 8822 last stop (this will be the harder one with the most elevation gain) Grouse Mountain Elevation 8586. The setting for this hike is in the Chumash Wilderness Los Padres National Forest. This is a beautiful forest setting. Dogs allowed (no rock scrambling or bush whacking )
Parking free paved lot
Adventure Pass maybe required
As of now there is no sweeper for this hike so please know if you feel you can not finish for any reason please turn back early
