NOTE:
This is an alternative hike for Tuesday, a little slower, a little shorter. We will take the Los Robles East trail with lots of trees and shade. I’ve been told this area drys up fast after a rain.
We will do an in/out of 5 miles with about 800′ of total elevation gain, spread out nicely. “Robles” is Spanish for oaks, and we’ll see plenty of them on this beautiful, relaxing hike.
Trailhead Directions: From the 101 in Thousand Oaks, turn south on Moorpark Road. Drive about 0.5 miles to the parking lot at the corner of Greenmeadow and Moorpark Road.
