Hello Fellow Hikers,
Okay it’s that time again, time to hike The Ridge! dun dun dun dun..lol I know so dramatic. Okay for those of you who have not experienced this hike be prepared to workout! I know your thinking really 9.1 miles with a 1850 elevation gain? We have done much harder…But the first 3 miles of this hike you’re elevation gain will be 1600! Now before you roll your eyes and move onto another event y’all are faster than me on Tapo Canyon! So if I got this so do you! 😎 Now for the trail…This trail will start out with all the hard parts up front. After your first 3 miles it is smooth sailing. This trail is not very popular (The Ridge part) so it may have some overgrowth so pants are suggested. Oh and don’t get me started on the views! Will be doing the trail this time from Las Llajas to the Ridge then back to Las Llajas. You do not need to be a fast hiker as many people (like me) take several breather break to the top. But you need to be a strong hiker so sorry no beginners on this hike. I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, pics, and stats…https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/las-llajas-canyon-and-ridge-loop
