Give the ecosystem a helping hand at Harmon Canyon working under the guidance of Ventura Land Trust (VLT) leaders. Exact activities will be determined day of the volunteering but example tasks are: hand pull small invasive plants, hike 1 mi for streambed invasive plant removal (tamarix). No plant expertise necessary.
BRING gloves, spade or hand tools. BRING water and sun protection.
All volunteers will sign a VLT waiver at the event. As part of the Sierra Club group, you understand that you may be with vaccinated and non vaccinated people and chose to participate regardless. Do not attend if you exhibit COVID symptoms. You are required to notify the leader if you test positive for COVID after the event.
