Hi All,
Barring extenuating circumstances, if you sign up and don’t show up, or change your rsvp to “not going” less than 4 hours before the start of the hike more than once, you will not be welcome to hike with me again. Masks are mandatory as we gather at the trailhead and the Lookout!
This is one of our easiest and most beginner friendly hikes with a great place to hang out at the end. It will be close to a full moon and I thought an easy hike the night before Thanksgiving might be a good idea!
This out & back hike is only 2 miles total, and will take us to a lookout destination which has an amazing view of both the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles.
From where we park, there’s also a great view of the South Bay. We were once treated to a fireworks display being done off of a boat in the bay.
If you want to bring snacks to share, please consider Covid and bring individually wrapped items, so people aren’t dipping into the same bags or containers. Unless you are snacking, I will ask that we all wear masks when we are on the lookout together.
