UNHOSTED EVENT
I had planned to take a group to the June 21 (Tuesday’s) “Free Day” at the lovely Descanso Gardens so got 12 tickets, but now have tested positive for COV-SARS2 so would like to invite group members to take themselves to the garden for free Tuesday at 10:30 am. If the tickets are unused the Gardens will still admit the same number of people so it’s no loss to the Garden but if a group wants to assemble and guide themselves while social distancing I can provide 12 tickets and you may stay as long as you like. Please be aware of the ongoing COVID surge in the Southern California area and take appropriate measures. I got four shots and never stopped masking indoors and became a hermit and spoke to nobody for months and still got it!
Parking: Free on site.
Distance: just a meander on mostly paved or hard packed paths, 0.8-1.6 miles at most.
Gain: maybe 250 feet.
Known Dangers: Allergies, too much sun, evil plants, too much native flora, lawyers.
