Fisherman’s Village – Marina del Rey to Redondo Beach Pier

Jay P has planned a smooth, easy, and scenic e-bike ride for Sunday December 18th. Bike Path – Fishermans Village – Marina del Rey to Redondo Beach Pier. The following is the link to the bike path route including mile markers. 20 miles R/T https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41574901

There are a number of places for lunch on the Pier. The best being Quality Seafood. *

We will stop along the ride for pictures and bathroom breaks

Redondo Beach Pier – break for casual lunch with a number of fast-food restaurant choices – packing a bike lock is recommended

Return by way of Fisherman’s Village where there is live music until 4 pm for those who wish to hang out.

Just before arriving at the Village riders can ride or walk out on the newly paved Jetty for viewing boats returning from a day on the water and take scenic pictures.

For those who don’t wish to ride as far as Redondo Pier, they can stop at Manhattan or Hermosa Beach Pier, have lunch and ride back with us – no worries.

Directions
Meet at 10 am next to entrance to the Dock 52 free parking lot. The lot is next to the Marina administrative annex on one end and a boat yard on the other. See pic in gallery

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
