We’re going to ride some more ebikes in El Segundo, have lunch at a trendy restaurant and then do a beach hike.
EBIKES – We’re heading to EBIKES LA (https://www.electricbikesla.com/) to check out what they have. They have a large assortment of ebikes from various manufacturers.
TRENDY RESTAURANT – We’re going to King Beach Cafe (https://www.playaprovisions.com/spaces) for lunch which is part of Playa Provisions. They also have an ice cream place there too!!
BEACH HIKE – From the restaurant, we head 1/2 mile west to the beach and we’ll do a hike there of unknown distance and duration. This is an on the sand beach hike, so sandals and/or bare feet are the best way to do it.
If you have to be somewhere later that day, don’t commit to this. This event will be over when it’s over. The end time posted above is a wild guess.

Our 2nd stop is ” King Beach Cafe” at 119 Culver Blvd, Playa del Rey. It’s about 11 minutes away.

The restaurant appears to have a parking lot but that may only work for the duration of our meal. There’s a park just north of the restaurant that appears to have a lot of available parking. I’d suggest parking there.
3rd stop is the beach. “Go West, young man” (directions provided by Horace Greely) we go west until we can’t. Then we head North and/or South.
EARLIER MEETUP LOCATION: Those out my way can meet me in Woodland Hills at 8:50 a.m. and take off from there in a car pool. Meet at the corner of Leonora Dr. and Ponce Avenue. Ponce Ave. is the first street east of Fallbrook. We can park on Ponce which is not in front of any homes. We can load the cars up here, since there isn’t a car shuttle involved on this event. Those that don’t drive can help pay for gas.
