BIKE RIDE – We’ll start in Marina Del Rey, head north to the end of the bike path at Temescal Canyon and then head back to the Marina, stopping for lunch. After lunch, we’ll head south to the north end of Manhattan Beach and then return to our start point.
The route will be mainly on the Marvin Braude Bike Trail. This beautiful bike path will take us along the beach. The street riding portion of this is probably less than 3%, the rest of the time, you’re on a bike path away from car traffic.
It won’t be a race as we’re out there to just enjoy the day and so we’ll probably stop to watch dolphins, take pictures, etc.
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.
