Hello Fellow Hikers,
Let’s tackle Mount Lukens from a lesser known route. The summit of Mount Lukens is at 5075 ft and the highest point in Los Angeles. The AllTrails map stops at Mount Lukens Road but we are gonna continue another .25 mile to the towers. Which will give us about a 14 mile hike with 3500 elevation gain. This is a pretty mountain view hike with continuous incline. This hike is not suitable for beginners. And expect a great workout. Carpooling at our same meetup spot will be offered for anyone who wishes to carpool (Best donuts located 2325 Kuehner Dr # 127 Simi Valley off the 118 freeway at 7:15) I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, pics, and stats…https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/earl-canyon-road-to-mount-lukens-road
