This hike will be a little bit different than the other ones we have done. Note that it costs $15 and you must reserve your ticket in advance to attend. Their website says that the March Tickets come available starting February 22. If the date I chose is not available I might choose the following Saturday instead.
Also it will only be the outdoor portion due to Covid Restrictions, but there is still plenty to see.
To attend here is what you must do:
1)Sign up so that I know there is interest. Everyone who signs up will be put on a waitlist.
2) On February 22, go onto their website and reserve a ticket in Advance for March 6, 1pm (I assume it won’t sell out).
2) Once you have purchased your ticket then let me know, by either mentioning it in the comments or messaging me through meet up. Then I will move you from the waitlist to going.
3)As usual protocol due to Covid I prefer to keep the group to 10 people but I am flexible and also it is a public place so anyone who wants to purchase a ticket can attend as long as they have openings.
On the day of the event we will meet outside 30 minutes before the ticket time. Note that the Gardens follow social distancing and mask policies to prevent spread of Covid 19, which we will follow as well.
Directions: from Simi Valley, take the 118E to the 210E take exit 20 for CA-2/Angeles Crest Hwy toward La Canada Flintridge, turn right and then turn right onto Foothill Blvd, Left on Verdugo Blvd and Left onto Descanso Dr. There should be plenty of parking but plan to arrive at 12:30 to purchase your ticket at 1pm.
