Hello Fellow Hikers,
Okay time to venture out towards Ojai. And this is gonna be a good one. Many say this is a leg burner. A lot of good incline up. And some rock scrambling to the top of Chief Peak which is nearly a 5600 foot elevation summit. Will have both ocean and mountain views. While there we can decide if we want to add an extra mile to see the Rose Valley Falls. This trail is rated hard so not suitable for beginners. Carpooling at our same location for anyone who would like to carpool or follow to the trailhead. Please note we are starting to schedule our meetup for a 9:00am start as the weather is slowly warming up. Carpooling at our same meetup spot will be offered for anyone who wishes to carpool (Best donuts located 2325 Kuehner Dr # 127 Simi Valley off the 118 freeway at 7:15) I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, pics, and stats: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/chief-peak-rd-to-chief-peak

Parking free day use parking or $10 for campground parking
Rated hard not suitable for beginners
As of now there is no sweeper for this hike so please know if you feel you can not finish for any reason please turn back early
