PARKING FEE: Probably about $10 for the day. However – if you are 62 or older, you can get a Golden Bear limited pass for $20 which works at this park and most State Parks and beaches. It’s not usable between Memorial Day to Labor Day, but its usually pays for itself after 2 uses. You can buy it at the park office at this location, though you should contact them to make sure they’ll be open. Also, if you are going to buy one, please allow extra time to get it so you’ll be ready to ride at 9am. There’s also street parking, but that can be hard to find in a beach city.

BIKE TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A paved two lane bike path and a bike lane on Pacific Coast Highway.

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
