BIKE RIDE – Temescal Canyon to Marina Del Rey and back.
The route will be on the Marvin Braude Bike Trail (aka the beach bike path). This beautiful bike path will take us along the beach and eventually to Fisherman’s Village in Marina Del Rey. There is some street riding on this one – specifically on Washington Boulevard and Fiji Way but the rest of the time, you’re on a bike path away from car traffic. However, as we’re going through Venice, there can be a lot of folks on the bike path in certain sections.
It won’t be a race as we’re out there to just enjoy the day and so we’ll probably stop to watch dolphins, take pictures, get some lunch and probably stop for ice cream at the half way point.
Lunch will be at the Candle Cafe in Venice (https://candlecafevenicebeach.com/)
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.
