DEPARTURE TIME: 10:00AM. As with all San Diego Backpacker Events, this hike will start at the designated time. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow for parking and introductions.
ABILITY LEVEL: Beginner level. These are merely descriptions of the hike, not a recommendation nor any assurance that it is suitable for your skill level.
DISTANCE/DURATION 3.5 miles 2 to 2 1/2 hours One Way. 1300 Ft. of Elevation Loss going in to Camp another 3.5 miles 2 1/2 hours to 3 hrs. One Way and 1300 Ft. of Gain to return to the cars Sunday.
DIRECTIONS: From I-15 Fwy. Exit at Clinton Keith Road, and go west. Clinton Keith Road becomes Tenaja Road after 2 miles. Stay on Tenaja Road for another 8 miles to Cleveland Forest Road. Turn right on Cleveland Forest Road and go one mile to Wilderness Boundary and Tenaja Trailhead parking.
