The overflow for the 9 AM hike is overflowing, so try this earlier, shorter hike. It starts at 8:30 and will take the left fork, which goes to the slightly closer Ranch building. Everything else is the same: meet at the RSV parking lot near the bathrooms.
Because of this weekend’s rain, we will avoid mud as much as possible with an asphalt / gravel route. We’ll meet near the bathrooms in the Rancho Sierra Vista parking lot, then hike down Sycamore Canyon and then take a left instead of Ranch Center Road out and then returning on Sycamore Canyon back to the cars.
This out and back hike will be less than 6.5 miles with about 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
Our usual conditions and restrictions apply for your safety and ours:
- Don’t show up unless you’re shown on the “Attending” list
- Unregistered or waitlisted will be turned away
- No “Plus One’s” on this hike
- No dogs on this or any other Weekday Trailblazers hike
- If this is your first hike with us, you will be asked to show your vaccination card (a photo on your phone is fine).
- All participants must be 18 or older, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Do NOT leave anything of value in your car, at this or any other trailhead.
