Our loopy hike will begin at the Vanowen St trail head for El Escorpión Park. We’ll head west along a dry creek until we enter the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Preserve where we turn south toward Ahmanson Ranch. We’ll soon arrive at our destination atop a peak overlooking the West San Fernando Valley
Hike will be appx 3.75 miles total with about 600 feet total ascent.

This hike is suitable for fit beginners
Bring some adult beverages to share and food for yourself (or share). Please bring your own cups and plates.
👉NO WHITE LIGHTS ALLOWED ON HIKE. Green and/or red lights are ok (but lights will probably not be needed since the area will be well lit by the moon).

Directions
Go to the west end of Vanowen St and park on street
From the 101 freeway exit Valley Circle Boulevard. Head north to Vanowen St. Turn left. Park on street near the end of Vanowen
From the 118: exit Topanga Canyon, go south, turn right on Vanowen St
