Caballero Canyon to Bent Arrow Trail & Temescal Fireroad

Caballero Canyon to Bent Arrow Trail & Temescal Fireroad

This is the substitute hike for the Musch Loop hike in Topanga. Due to road closures that hike has been rescheduled for next Sunday

Join us for a leisurely hike through the old stomping grounds of Edgar Rice Burroughs in Caballero Canyon in Tarzana. After climbing to dirt Mullholland we’ll turn west for a bit then south on Bent Arrow trail to the Temescal Fireroad where we will continue west and then loop around back to Caballero

Hike is about 5 miles with 500 ft elevation gain. Active/fit beginners should be ok. Bring water, snacks, hat and sturdy sneakers or hiking shoes.

Meet at the Caballero Canyon trailhead on Reseda Bl. From the 101 Freeway, exit at Reseda Blvd and turn south. Drive for about 4 miles. There is parking on both sides of the street; the trailhead is on the left across the street from Braemar Country club.
