White Sage Trail

Hello Fellow Hikers,
Okay we did a part of this trail in a past Meetup and said we would never do it as a “out and back” (remember that Kim) ha ha okay here we go… Don’t let the 5.1 mile and 1158 elevation gain fool ya its a good up and down then back up and down hike. This is a exposed hike not a lot of shade. Pretty mountain views but more of a good workout hike to get your day started. I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, stats and photos…https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/white-sage-trail

Trail out and back
Rated moderate
Elevation Gain 1158 ft
Dogs doesn’t specify but dogs are in the photos and mentioned in the reviews I’ll be bringing mine
Parking free

As of now there is no sweeper for this hike so please know if you feel you can not finish for any reason please turn back early.

Please check back on hike info as rain, heat advisory, strong winds or low attendance may cause the hike to be rescheduled

We will always follow Jim’s Golden Rules:

  1. Hike your own hike
  2. Please stop at every junction and split to wait for others to catch up

Please remember to bring all essentials you’ll need for a hike

And last….The Organizer, Co Organizer, Assistant Organizers and Event hosts in this group are not professional guides. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip. Each person who signs up for a Event is responsible for his or her own safety and the safety of his or her guest. Remember this is your hike all responsibilities are of your own once you attend please be aware of your limits.

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
