The ponds at the Ventura Harbor are a bird lover’s paradise. There will be no elevation gain and not much mileage, but the abundance of birds will make up for the lack of exercise.

There are many places to eat later in the harbor, but I like Andria’s Seafood. We can meet in the parking lot of Andria’s at 1449 Spinnaker Drive. Follow the same directions as for Island Packers, but much closer to Harbor Blvd.

The entrance to the ponds is at Spinnaker Dr. and Angler Ct., across from the parking lot.

Feel free to bring anyone you want, as there is no limit.
