We’re kicking off the campaign with a community celebration—backed by donors, volunteers, and public land champions—followed by sustained investment in trail repair, habitat recovery, and public engagement.

The event will also feature engaging speakers, including our keynote speaker, Josh Jackson — writer, photographer, and advocate for public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Through his Forgotten Lands Project, he employs immersive storytelling and striking visual narratives to inspire appreciation and engagement with these often overlooked landscapes. His advocacy work has been featured by the Los Angeles Times and SFGate. Josh is also the author of the forthcoming book, The Enduring Wild: A Journey into California’s Public Lands.
This is the start of something big! Trails Forever will address fire damage, improve access, protect ecosystems, and create space for learning and connection.
