Snow trip is canceled due to lack of snow so I decided to copy Rocky’s trip (ARIZONA: Superstition Wilderness Backpack) and explore somewhere new.
Day 1 (Friday)
Deanna and I are leaving San Diego at 8am and should arrive at First Water Trailhead at 4pm (Arizona time). We will hike to Charlebois Spring in the evening/night (8mi 1350ft). It will be a full moon!
Charlebois is a reliable source of water.
Others are welcome to arrive earlier and grab us a good campsite 🙂
GAIA Route
Day 2-3 (Saturday and Sunday)
There are a couple good day hikes.

I’m thinking on Sunday afternoon we will move camp to La Barge Pool (5.5mi 550ft)
Day 4 (Monday)
Climb Battleship Mountain and hike back to cars (6.5mi 2000ft)
