Pinos Nordic Base, 3rd Annual Weekend of Fall Hiking/Camping 🥾🏕️ @ Chula Vista

Join me and my Sunrise to Sunset hikers from OC for a great weekend! Also, a handful coming from Kern Valley Hiking. (Expect about 30 +/- attendees.)

It’s OUR local gem 💎 and they all loved it the last 2 years! The Fall colors, California elderberries, sunsets, and views! 🤩

Please look at all of the details here:
Join me at 3rd Mt. Pino’s Fall Weekend Campout 🏕️& Hikes 🥾in Los Padres National Forest https://meetu.ps/e/NDzW8/C3jP/i

Park at the Mt. Pinos Nordic Center. We will be camping at the Chula Vista Campground right there behind the building, past the gate, to the meadow on the left. Google Maps works for both.

It’s first come first served campground & FREE, so EASY!

Please read the full postings provided!
And bring water 💦 & your wagon (in case you didn’t read it carefully.)

I have to invite all of my locals for a fun weekend of camping 🏕️ and/or hiking 🥾

You are also welcome to just come for either or both of the hikes 🥾⛰️

Saturday, we will start at the Pinos’ Nordic parking lot, where we are camping.

Sunday, we will start at the bottom of McGill trail on the road.

Please put into comments what you will join for, so that I can look 👀 out for meeting you there! 🤝

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
