I miss doing this hike so I am copying it from Lisa’s post (Thanks Lisa)!
I know I usually hike faster than she does but I think anyone can do this hike if they want to no matter the level.

From the parking lot behind the Clinica’s medical building, we will cross over Madera and walk a short distance through the neighborhood to the trailhead. We will hike a series of switchbacks for about 1.5 miles to the cross at the top. This is a steady climb across the face of the hill, always in full view of the neighborhood below, and of Simi Valley. At the top are panoramic views of Simi Valley, Moorpark, the Simi Hills, Santa Susana and Santa Monica Mountains, and the Reagan Library close by. On a clear day, we may see the Channel Islands in the Pacific Ocean, and maybe Mt. San Antonio (aka Mt. Baldy) to the far east. It will be dark so we will only have city lights view but it can still be a great view!
Time: 5:30pm.
Sunset: 5:27 pm (bring your flashlight)
Where to meet: the parking lot behind the Clinica’s medical building on the corner of Royal and Madera.
Distance: about 3 miles
Route type: Out & Back
Elevation gain: 700 ft
Difficulty: Fit beginner/we won’t go very fast but do not expect to stop and rest until you get to the cross and then we will go over to the library. You might decide to turn around at the cross if you are a beginner.

Known Dangers: Rattlesnakes, mountain lions, bobcats, tarantulas, scorpions, slip-‘n-fall, poison oak
