Hello Fellow Hikers,
Okays it’s time for some forest therapy. This is a really popular backpacking trail as your surrounded by lush pine trees and gorgeous mountain peaks. Once we reach Pinos peak will take a snack break and pics as this peak does have signs. This is one of the easier peaks to reach with the summit being at 8,847 ft (and the highest point in Ventura County) and a great stopping point for a break before heading back. Carpooling at our same meetup spot will be offered for anyone who wishes to carpool or follow to the trailhead (Best donuts located 2325 Kuehner Dr # 127 Simi Valley off the 118 freeway at 6:15 am) I have attached the AllTrails link for stats, directions and photos. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/mt-pinos-via-mcgill-trail

As of now there is no sweeper for this hike so please know if you feel you can not finish for any reason please turn back early

We offer all levels of hikes from moderate to hard to advanced only. We encourage everyone to not give up work on your core by joining our easier moderate Events and then joining our harder hikes once you are ready. 😊
