Hello fellow Hikers…
Okay got another little known trail in the western San Gabriel Mountains located in Sylmar/Sunland area called Mount McKinley. This trail is a moderate climb on a fireroad until we hit a turn off to start our climb towards the top. This is where the hard rating comes in. From here will encounter some overgrowth due to a less traveled trail but should be doable. So the first three to four miles should be a gradual climb with the last one to two miles being our workout. I have attached the AllTrails link for directions, stats and photos….We will be following the AllTrails map from start to finish…
