Joshua Tree car camping trip #2 of 3

Rsvp will open on January 1, 2025

Ryan campground
2 sites are reserved (sites 15 & 16). 6 people and 2 cars per site.
Will need to carpool.
If there are more people interested then more sites can be reserved. (sites 17 and 19) are close by
$10 cash or zelle per person to cover firewood and site fee

There are pit toilets and fire grates. Need to bring your own water

Campground is at 4,300’ with unique rock formations.

Days are short so tentative hikes include Ryan Mountain (3 miles) on Saturday and Lost Horse Mine Loop (6.5 miles) on Sunday. We can drive to Keys View for the sunset.

All trips are during new moon-first quarter phases so hopefully we get some nice starry nights.

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.
