Welcome to the new parking area at the north end of Las Virgenes! Construction is complete, and cars may now park diagonally off Las Virgenes near the trailheads.
We will be hiking northeast to Laskey Mesa, then around the mesa to the north, west, and back to upper Las Virgenes, then back to the cars for a total of 7 miles and 1,000′ of elevation gain. There is one relatively steep section, about 1/4 through the hike, but it’s short.
I’ll pre-hike this over the weekend to check for water in the creeks, and will post a comment if I find some.
