This hike is so cool! It’s a good distance with little elevation gain and it is beautiful.
This hike will take us to the Brown Mountain Dam Waterfall. The hike is an out and back at around 8.7 miles total with 650 ft. of elevation gain, so not steep! This area of the Angeles National Forest is beautiful so I’m really looking forward to this hike.
There are a lot of shallow water crossings and a lot of shade.
Make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat, snacks, and good hiking boots or shoes!
Please look at the map and directions ahead of time so you know where to go.
Parking is free in the lot and other side streets.
