EBIKE RIDE – SOLVANG COUNTRYSIDE via two secluded tranquil roads

Spring has arrived and a great place to enjoy it is the serene countryside outside of Solvang. There are two roads outside of Solvang that we will be taking. The first is Refugio Rd. which follows Quiota Creek and is rimmed by mature oaks as it makes its way up to eventually West Camino Cielo. The last part of this road is too steep and goes through private land, so we won’t do this portion. The second road is Alisal Road which follows Alisal Creek past the Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort. Finally we will end up at Nojoqui Falls. Strong bikers are welcomed to join us on their regular bikes. Both roads are paved.

Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube and have tires inflated for road riding.

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
