**High winds, heavy rain, and hot weather will cancel this hike.**
The Devil’s Punchbowl (aka, the devil’s chair) is my favorite Easter Sunday hike, and it has now re-opened! The area is composed of the most spectacular, colorful jumble of rocks formed by the Punchbowl and San Andreas Faults over millions of years.
We will meet at the Nature Center at 9:15am with a start time precisely at 9:30am.
This is a **slower** paced, stress free, 7 mile hike with an elevation gain of 1,400’, out and back. We will stop at various points to allow those in back (including me) to catch up. The views are incredible so don’t forget your cameras.
*** **The habitat is still trying to recover due to the Bobcat fire, so please be mindful of new growth and stay on the trails.** ***
