This is not a backpacking trip.
This is an off-road, backcountry adventure over 3 days requiring 4WD and 5 gallons, minimum, extra fuel.

You will only be added to this trip if you have a 4WD vehicle and jerry can or fuel container or if a driver offers space for SDB passengers.

✔️ Come to Boxcar after topping off gas and fuel can(s) in Olancha (33 miles/60 mins away).
✔️ Bring firewood.
🔍 Option to view Viking and Queen Talc Mine near Boxcar.

📅 Saturday, 2/15
⛏️ We will drive 50 miles this day.
⛏️ Head up South Pass towards (SPA).
❗ Road is mostly washboard.
❗ Bring tools to tighten whatever may come loose.
⛏️ Establish camp and enjoy.
⛏️ Has amenities.
⛏️ Weather: possible high 70 / low 40-50
✔️ We have a list of items to bring for (SPA) to contribute as a group.
🤐 Do not respond with information about (SPA) anywhere on this event publicly, it will be deleted.

📅 Sunday, 2/16
⛏️ We will drive approximately 83 miles this day.
❗ Steele Pass, Class 3 with steps.
⛏️ Marble Bath
⛏️ Eureka Dunes
⛏️ Ubehehe Crater
⛏️ Set camp at Mesquite Spring Campground.
⛏️ Has potable water, fire rings, and flushing toilets.
⛏️ Weather: possible high 60 / low 40

📅 Monday, 2/17
⛏️ We will drive approximately 42 miles this day.
⛏️ Fuel up in Stovepipe Wells.
❗ Approximately 208 miles driven from Olancha to Stovepipe Wells.
👋 Part ways at Stovepipe Wells.

America the Beautiful pass or park entrance fee.
Cash for FCFS sites.
Wood for three nights.
Extra water.
Cold weather gear.
All supplies for entire duration of trip.
There is no resupply for 208 miles.
