Cucamonga Peak day hike

Cucamonga Peak day hike

Assuming there are no more fires that burn down the local forests this is a long day hike. This hike will be rescheduled to Sunday, June 22 if there is snow or ice past the saddle.

Meet at 7:00 am at the Icehouse Canyon parking lot. The lot always gets full and i suggest that you get there by 6:30am to be ready to hike at 7 in case you have to park and walk from down the road. Bring an adventure pass

Know your limits if you are sensitive to altitude. Turn around if needed.

Add yourself to the waitlist and i will move you to going in April once i know the trail conditions*

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
