Come and join us to fix up one of Conejo Valley’s most popular trails – the Santa Rosa Trail above the Wildwood Mesa! After a two year hiatus, we are finally able to get together as a group to restore our local trails. Overdue for attention, the Santa Rosa Trail has suffered a lot in the past two years. First with little rain and vastly increased use, the trail was dusty with lots of small loose rocks. Then the rain this past December washed all that and more away.

Meet at the INNER parking lot at Wildwood at 7:30 am to register and be ready to walk to the work area by 8. We will return at noon for a Thank You lunch. To speed up the sign-in process, we would appreciate it if you could register online in advance at [https://cosf.org/events/register/](https://cosf.org/events/register/)

Thanks for registering in advance!

All tools will be provided, as well as instructions on how to use them safely and effectively, by experienced trail crew leaders. No experience needed – everyone works at a rate they’re comfortable with and takes lots of breaks.

Wear sturdy hiking boots with good lugs, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, sunglasses, sunblock and a hat, and bring water, snacks. Bring work gloves.

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
