Sequoia National Forest is a beautiful alpine area with some of the largest trees on earth – the giant sequoias. Our campground is near a beautiful natural granite waterslide with swimming holes. Come prepared to get wet! This is a favorite location for many of us! Bring a hammock and kick back to the sounds of the nearby creek. Plenty of hiking, mountain meadows and the Giant Forest nearby. Campground is about 4.5 hours from Santa Clarita. Carpooling is HIGHLY recommended.
To Reserve a Spot: RSVP AND secure your spot with a $20 deposit. Venmo your deposit to @Heidi-Webber-5 with the comment “Stony Creek Camping.” The rest of the fees will be divided between attendees and collected at the campsite.
Refund Policy:
If you cancel, your deposit is forfeited.
If CHC cancels a camping trip that requires a reservation fee at the time the site is reserved, each camper that paid the $20 deposit to hold their spot on the trip will be refunded all of their $20 minus the shared cost of any cancellation fee, if one is charged.
Directions: From Fresno, California, go east on Highway 180 to the Kings Canyon National Park entrance. Take a right at the Generals Highway, traveling approximately 10 miles south to Stony Creek Campground. After you pass Stony Creek Village (lodge and store), look for Stony Creek Campground on the right a couple of miles down the road. NOTE: There is also an Upper Stony Creek Campground on the left side of General’s Highway. We are in Stony Creek, NOT Upper Stony Creek.
