BIKE RIDE TO “OJAI”
BIKE RIDE TO “OJAI” For some things in life, once a year just isn’t enough. We’re going back to Ojai for more biking fun. We’ll be taking the “Ojai Valley Trail” to get there. It truly is one of the most beautiful bike paths you’ll ever see. After about 16.5 miles, we’ll have lunch at one of the restaurants in Ojai. When its time to return to the starting point, it’s almost all downhill.
This description is for the 31 mile trip. There is also a 19 mile version of the trip which can be found here: https://www.meetup.com/calabasasdayhikers/events/277580877/
The difference between this group and the other one is that we’ll be doing an additional 6 miles in each direction. Both groups will meet up at 10:00 a.m. in Foster Park.
This group will be leaving promptly at 9:10 am from Ventura. We won’t be waiting for anyone who is late. If you find yourself arriving late for whatever reason, please drive to the main meeting spot in Foster Park where both groups will be meeting at 10 am.
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube.
