On this one Chuck Dickens will be our invisible leader. We’ll do a loop around two Ranchos: Rancho Sierra Vista and Rancho Potrero.
We’ll begin and end on the Satwiwa Loop Trail. Rancho Potrero abuts the west end of the loop and includes grasslands, coastal sage scrub with the Conejo rock plant association, and riparian habitats. On clear days, the coastline and Channel Islands can be seen from the old Olympia Farms site, which is located mid-elevation on the property and still has graded pad areas from the previous use.
