Natoma Loop Trail is a 1.7 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located in Woodland Hills. But anything less than a couple miles is not worth getting up for so we’ll extend the loop a bit into the cool side of Mulholland for a distance of about 3.5 miles with moderate elevation gain.
NO WHITE LIGHTS ALLOWED ON HIKE. Green and/or red lights are ok. If you don’t have one walk with someone who does or don’t bother attending. Get one of these and stuff it into your backpack for future night hikes. https://amzn.to/2E9Fb30. (emergencies excepted, of course)
It will be a warm evening but at least the sun won’t be beating down on us while we watch it set with great views of the Valley. Bring something cold to drink at the top 🍺🍹
NOTE: YOU SHOULD WEAR A MASK OR FACE COVERING WHERE SOCIAL DISTANCING IS IMPOSSIBLE OR IMPRACTICAL. BRINGING A MASK OR FACE COVERING IS MANDATORY FOR ATTENDING THIS HIKE.
Directions
Proceed to the south end of Natoma Ave and park on right side of street in dirt lot.
