SUMMARY:Hike at Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park - Borrego Trail & Red Rock Canyon
DESCRIPTION:The total mileage for this hike is 4.5 miles with about 460 ft. of elevation gain. \nWe will start at the trail head of the Borrego Trail\, which is right off of the parking lot. This is where we will meet. We will head up the Borrego Trail until we get to the Red Rock Trail. We take this into the canyon. Same way back. \nHere is a link to the park map: http://ocparks.com/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BlobID=15841 \nThe trail head we will be going on is off of the parking lot on Portola in between Alton Pkwy. and Bake Pkwy. Let’s meet right at the trail head by the sign. \nThe address is: 26701 Portola Parkway\, Foothill Ranch\, CA 92610 \nIf you have any questions\, let me know! I’m looking forward to the hike! \nDogs are not allowed at this park. \nThere is parking near the trailhead. Parking is $3\, unless you have an OC Parks Annual Permit.
